General Comment:This is a bad deal for all tax payers. If
  I want to watch my local DTV signals then I  
  should be able to WITHOUT paying a cable bill as well. Are
  these not PUBLIC  
  airwaves the TV stations use? It should not make one bit of
  difference if I get  
  cable or not. What about when the cable is "out? How about
  all the sub  
  channels the local DTV station will transmit? Will my local
  cable company even  
  carry them all? If I have cable or not it shouldn't have anything
  to do with whether  
  or not I want to take advantage of the coupon program. They
  are two completely  
  separate problems not related in any way. 
  Please do not pass this rule until ALL Americans can get in
  on the coupon  
  program, if they want to. I didn't ask for this (DTV) and feel
  the cost is not mine to  
  bear. My TVs all work fine right now.  |
