Subject: Input for D2A STB!
Respected NTIA Officers .... governing D2A $40 Coupon Program:

I read Q&A about the program.
It says there would be some Performance Spec for the D2A STB.
One thing missing, very important in my opinion, is lack of Antenna to be
used with the D2A STB.

Can a consumer use the antenna he has for his/her Analog TV and have the STB
perform?
Will the STB require high-priced antenna?

The antenna should not cost more than 10% of the D2A STB price.

Will the estimated $50 price include a suitable antenna that assures
Performance in-situ?

The NTIA should ask each D2A STB manufacturer to specify a suitable antenna
that assures Performance of its D2A STB.

There will be approved D2A STB provider eligible for $40 coupons.
Will a STB provider lose its eligibility for the $40 Coupon if its STBs are
plagued with Consumer returns?
