CSMAC
The Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) advises the Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information at NTIA on a broad range of spectrum policy issues. The members are spectrum policy experts, appointed as "Special Government Employees," from outside the Federal government. Committee members offer expertise and perspective on reforms to enable new technologies and services, including reforms that expedite the American public's access to broadband services, public safety, and long-range spectrum planning. Members are selected based on their technical background and expertise as well as NTIA's commitment to ensure diversity and balance in points of view. Members serve in a personal capacity and do not represent any organization or interest.
The Department of Commerce created the Committee in 2004.

Notice of 01/14/2021 CSMAC Meeting
This notice announces a public meeting of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (Committee). The Committee provides advice to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on spectrum management policy matters. The meeting will be held January 14, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST).
