WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) alongside several other bureaus within Commerce including the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)  and the International Trade Administration (ITA), began implementing an important Internet routing security measure, enhancing cybersecurity throughout the Department and completing a key priority from the National Cybersecurity Strategy.

WASHINGTON – The Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has approved the District of Columbia, Delaware and Washington state’s Initial Proposals for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program, a cornerstone of the Biden-Harris Administration’s “Internet for All” initiative.
