InterNIC
The Internet Network Information Center, known as InterNIC ®, denotes a place on the Internet where users can find important information, such as WHOIS and domain name registration information (available at http://www.internic.org). NTIA manages the service mark on behalf of the United States Government and negotiated a license agreement with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) for its use.
