TBCP Award
The Osage Nation began the environmental review work for its $40 million broadband infrastructure deployment project. When complete, the project will directly connect more than 300 unserved Tribal households via fiber to the premise or fixed wireless.
Events
Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) staff assisted in coordinating numerous consultations between the State of Oklahoma and the Tribal governments that share their continuous borders to ensure Tribal priorities are heard by the state’s broadband office.
TBCP leadership and staff attended and presented at “The Internet for All: Oklahoma Local and Tribal Nation Coordination Workshop” in Oklahoma City. This event brought together critical stakeholders from federal, state, Tribal, and local governments to discuss coordination on broadband efforts as the state prepares to receive signification broadband funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
