TBCP Award

The Navajo Tribal Utility Authority began the environmental review work for its $50.8 million broadband infrastructure deployment project. The completed project will directly connect more than 17,000 unserved Tribal households and community anchor institutions.

The Dilkon Chapter began site surveys and environmental and biological reviews for its $33.2 million broadband infrastructure deployment project. Once this project is complete, it will connect over 2,000 unserved homes and remote hogans.

Events

Representatives from the Navajo Nation Council’s Law and Order Committee as well as the Health, Education and Human Services Committee met with TBCP staff and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) leadership to discuss barriers to Internet service and opportunities under NTIA programs.
