Skokomish Indian Tribe

The project proposes the following activities designed to improve access to broadband services and prepare for future deployment of fixed-wireless coverage:

Install antenna onto a pre-existing water tower and complete system installation for 2.5 GHz fixed wireless coverage.
Prepare for installation of a second wireless tower and antenna by purchasing equipment.
Install short hop wireless link antenna and microwave radio on a pre-existing rooftop.

This project will:

Prepare for future infrastructure deployment activities involving installation of a second wireless tower and antenna.
Connect 15 unserved Tribal households, 2 community anchor institutions, and 3 businesses to fixed wireless broadband service with 25/3 speeds.
Create 5-8 temporary construction-related jobs.
