This web page provides details concerning the August 22, 2012 privacy multistakeholder meeting. This meeting is the second in a series of NTIA-convened discussions concerning mobile application transparency. Stakeholders will engage in an open, transparent, consensus-driven process to develop a code of conduct regarding mobile app transparency. In addition, the meeting will provide a venue for stakeholders to agree on the schedule, location, and format of future meetings.

This notice announces a public meeting of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (Committee). The Committee provides advice to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information on spectrum management policy matters. The meeting will be held on October 4, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time.

The Committee will receive recommendations from subcommittees on matters related to the accomplishment of the President’s ten year goal of identifying 500 megahertz of radio spectrum for wireless broadband.

NTIA will convene  a series of meetings through December 2012 of a privacy multistakeholder process concerning mobile application transparency.
