Stakeholders will engage in an open, transparent, consensus-driven process to develop a code of conduct regarding mobile application transparency. The objectives of the July 12, 2012, meeting are to: (1) Promote discussion among stakeholders concerning mobile app transparency by employing a structured, open process; and (2) provide a venue for stakeholders to agree on the schedule and format of future meetings.

Notice of Public Meeting on IPv6

NTIA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), on Wednesday, July 28, will host a half-day public meeting on Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). The meeting will provide an opportunity for interested parties to discuss IPv6 deployment issues, including the appropriate government role, if any, in IPv6 deployment.

Open Meeting and Public Participation Policy

In the spirit of transparency and open government and in conformance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and implementing regulations, the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) meetings shall be open to the public.  This policy describes how NTIA will facilitate the openness of the meetings and how the public may interact with the CSMAC.   All public meeting notices will appear in the Federal Register at least 15 calendar days prior to an advisory committee meeting.
