Notice of open meeting.

SUMMARY:
This notice announces a public meeting of the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (Committee). The Committee provides advice to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) on spectrum management policy matters.

DATES:
The meeting will be held on January 25, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST).

This notice announces an open meeting of the Digital Economy Board of Advisors. NTIA will convene a meeting of a multistakeholder process concerning the collaboration between security researchers and software and system developers and owners to address security vulnerability disclosure on November 7, 2016,  from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time.  The meeting will be held at the American Institute of Architects, 1735 New York Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20006.  

Comments received in response to the request for comments on a National Broadband Research Agenda:  

On August 18, 2016, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) issued a notice and request for public comments seeking input on the benefits, costs, and challenges they have experienced, as well as any insight into additional incentives that could aid future adoption, implementation, and support of IPv6. In response to requests for additional time in which to comment, NTIA through this notice extends the closing deadline for submitting comments to 5:00 p.m.

NTIA will convene meetings of a multistakeholder process concerning Internet of Things Security Upgradability and Patching.  This Notice announces the first meeting, which is scheduled for October 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Central Daylight Time. The meeting will be held in the Trinity Ballroom at the Renaissance Austin Hotel, 9721 Arboretum Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78759.

This notice announces an open meeting of the Digital Economy Board of Advisors. The Board advises and provides recommendations to the Secretary of Commerce, through the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), on a broad range of issues concerning the digital economy and Internet policy.

The meeting will be held in two sessions on September 30, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. PDT.

In furtherance of the Broadband Opportunity Council's recommendation to improve data collection, analysis and research on broadband, NTIA and the National Science Foundation (NSF) request public comments to inform the development of a National Broadband Research Agenda in collaboration with the Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD) Program and other agencies that form the Council.

NTIA is seeking input to guide NTIA in future IPv6 promotional activities. Through this Notice, NTIA invites adopters and implementers of IPv6 as well as any other interested stakeholders to share information on the benefits, costs, and challenges they have experienced, as well as any insight into additional incentives that could aid future adoption, implementation, and support of IPv6.
