NTIA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), with the support of the National Coordination Office of the Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD) program, will co-host the Innovative Spectrum Sharing Technology Day on November 5, 2013. The Technology Day will showcase advances in spectrum sharing and other innovations and initiatives aimed at satisfying the nation’s surging demand for wireless services, devices and applications. The event  will be held on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Standard at the U.S.

NTIA will convene a meeting to discuss ‘‘lessons learned’’ from NTIA’s Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC) Working Group process. The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Department of Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee (CSMAC or committee) for new two-year terms. The CSMAC provides advice to the Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information and NTIA Administrator on spectrum policy matters.
DATES: Applications must be postmarked or electronically transmitted on or before November 15, 2013.
