2023 Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act (CSEA) Report

This report covers the period from January 2023 through December 2023 with the funds reported reflecting expenditures for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023. As authorized by the CSEA, the Spectrum Relocation Fund (SRF) provides a centralized and streamlined funding mechanism through which federal agencies can recover the costs associated with relocating their radio communications systems or sharing the reallocated spectrum.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is seeking comments and recommendations regarding the project entitled, “Local Estimates of Internet Adoption (Project LEIA). Project LEIA is a new joint project of NTIA and the United States Census Bureau (Census Bureau) to develop model-based estimates of Internet adoption for smaller populations than would typically be possible using survey data alone.
