The Department of Commerce’s Internet Policy Task Force will host a public meeting on Consumer Messaging in Connection with Online Transactions Involving Copyrighted Works on April 18, 2017, at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. The meeting will be webcast, and members of the public will have opportunities to participate.

The workshop will present in-depth sessions on planning and funding broadband infrastructure projects. The planning session will explore effective business and partnership models, and the funding session will identify available funding types, including federal funding. The Workshop will be held on April 19, 2017, from 8:30 a.m.

Notice of Workshop on Tactical Encryption and Key Management

The Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), U.S. Department of Commerce, will host a two-day workshop on Tactical Encryption and Key Management.   The goal of the workshop is to identify solutions to the problem of how to dynamically key and re-key different groups with varying levels of access and for varying lengths of time using existing infrastructure or over an ad hoc network that is reliable and user friendly.
