Agenda for the Roundtable on Measuring Cross-Border Data Flows: Unmet Data Needs
Over the past several months, Commerce has been talking to stakeholders, reviewing literature, and identifying the strengths and potential shortcomings of the existing data and research on cross-border data flows. The goal of this roundtable is to get input from stakeholders on what additional data and analysis on cross-border data flows is necessary.
Notice of 05/18/2016 Meeting of Multistakeholder Process To Develop Best Practices for Privacy, Transparency, and Accountability Regarding Commercial and Private Use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems
NTIA will convene a meeting of a multistakeholder process concerning privacy, transparency, and accountability issues regarding commercial and private use of unmanned aircraft systems on May 18, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern Time. The meeting will be held in the Boardroom at the American Institute of Architects, 1735 New York Avenue NW., Washington, DC 20006.

This notice announces an open meeting of the Digital Economy Board of Advisors. The Board advises and provides recommendations to the Secretary of Commerce, through the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), on a broad range of issues concerning the digital economy and Internet policy.
Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act (CSEA) Annual Progress Report for 2015
NTIA submits this report pursuant to Section 207 of the Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act (CSEA), Title II of Pub. L. 108-494, which requires annual reporting on federal agencies’ progress to relocate wireless communications systems from spectrum or share spectrum that has been reallocated to commercial use. This report provides details on two separate spectrum auctions conducted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that included: 1) the 1710 to 1755 megahertz (MHz) band, and 2) the 1695-1710 MHz and 1755-1780 MHz bands.
Measuring Cross-Border Data Flows: Unmet Data Needs Roundtable
As part of the Digital Economy Agenda, the Department of Commerce is working to identify data gaps in measuring the importance of cross-border data flows and the economic impact of restrictions to the free-flow of data. Through this Notice, we announce a roundtable to facilitate a discussion with stakeholders and experts as a first step in improving the Department's understanding of those data gaps and related economic questions. The roundtable will be held on May 9, 2016, from 8:30 a.m.
