FCC and NTIA Announce Workshop on Model City Program for Demonstrating and Evaluating Advanced Wireless Spectrum Sharing Technologies
By this Joint Public Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announce the date and location for a workshop on potentially establishing a “Model City” program for demonstrating, evaluating and advancing spectrum sharing innovation. The two-day workshop will be held on April 15-16, 2015, in the Commission Meeting Room, TW-C305, FCC Headquarters, 445 12th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20554.
Request for Comment on Stakeholder Engagement on Cybersecurity in the Digital Ecosystem
The Department of Commerce Internet Policy Task Force (IPTF) is requesting comment to identify substantive cybersecurity issues that affect the digital ecosystem and digital economic growth where broad consensus, coordinated action, and the development of best practices could substantially improve security for organizations and consumers. The IPTF invites public comment on these issues from all stakeholders with an interest in cybersecurity, including the commercial, academic and civil society sectors, and from relevant federal, state, local, and tribal entities.

The report covers activities through January 31, 2015. NTIA will update this report on a quarterly basis.
