Notice of First Responder Network Authority Board Meeting 06/04/2013

NTIA will convene an open public meeting of the Board of the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) on June 4, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Board members will meet in the Cotton II Room at the Westin Westminster Hotel, 10600 Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, Colorado, 80020. NTIA will post a detailed agenda prior to the meeting. The agenda topics are subject to change.

Sixth Annual Progress Report on the Relocation of Federal Radio Systems from the 1710-1755 MHz Spectrum Band

Section 207 of the Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act (CSEA), Title II of P.L. 108-494 requires annual reporting on federal agencies’ progress to vacate certain wireless communications systems from the 1710 megahertz (MHz) to 1755 MHz radio spectrum that has been reallocated to commercial use. NTIA published the first annual report to Congress on April 17, 2008. That report covered relocation activity occurring over the period March 2007 through December 2007.

Notice of Inquiry: Incentives To Adopt Improved Cybersecurity Practices

The President has directed the Secretary of Commerce to evaluate a set of incentives designed to promote participation in a voluntary program to be established by the Secretary of Homeland Security to support the adoption by owners and operators of critical infrastructure and other interested entities of the Cybersecurity Framework being developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
