On February 16, 2007 the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) submitted its report “Commercial Spectrum Enhancement Act Report to Congress on Agency Plans For Spectrum Relocation Funds” to Congress requesting $1,008,552,502 for 1990 frequency assignments be transferred from the relocation fund. After 30 days, OMB made Advanced Wireless Services auction funds available to the agencies for relocation.

The update reflects a reduction in the total number of frequency assignments in the 1710-1755 MHz band from 76 to 34.

First Responder Network Authority Board Special Meeting 06/27/2013

The Board of the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) will hold a Special Meeting via teleconference on June 27, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The Special Meeting will be conducted via teleconference. Members of the public may listen to the meeting by dialing toll-free 1 (888) 469-3306 and using passcode “FirstNet.” Due to the limited number of ports, attendance via teleconference will be on a first-come, first-served basis. NTIA will post an agenda for the Special Meeting on its Web site prior to the meeting.
