Georgia Emergency Management Agency

Georgia will use its newly established Georgia Public Safety Interoperability Executive Committee (PSIEC) to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP), and intends to update its Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan as part of the process.  The State plans to use the PSIEC, its eight All-Hazards Councils, and various professional associations, including the Georgia Fire Chiefs Association and Georgia Municipal Association, as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
