Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security

Tennessee will utilize its existing Public Safety Wireless Interoperability Communications Advisory Board and the Department of Safety and Homeland Security to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State plans to use the Wireless Interoperability Communications Advisory Board User Committee, as well as its nine existing regional planning and economic development districts as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
