Colorado

Colorado Department of Public Safety

Colorado will use its existing Statewide Interoperability Executive Council to implement the SLIGP, and intends to update its Statewide Communications Interoperability Plan as part of the process.  The Homeland Security Advisory Council will coordinate with representative organizations and the Department of Local Affairs to conduct education and outreach to local jurisdictions.  The State will use the existing official tribal liaison to engage tribal nations in public safety broadband planning efforts.  Colorado also plans to use program funds to host two statewide summits focusing on the SLIGP.
