Wyoming

State of Wyoming – Department of Enterprise Technology Services

Wyoming will use the existing Public Safety Communications Commission (PSCC) and Public Safety Mobile Broadband Working Group to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The State intends to update its Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan as part of the process, and plans to utilize face-to-face meetings as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.   Tribal representatives participate with the PSCC and Broadband Workgroup, and Wyoming will also appoint tribal liaisons to serve on the Governor’s policy staff.  These efforts will help the state engage with its two federally recognized tribes in public safety broadband planning efforts.
