Pennsylvania State Police

Pennsylvania will use its existing Public Safety Communications Council (PSCC) and Public Safety Communications Operations Committee to implement the State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP).  The Commonwealth intends to update its Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan as part of the process, and plans to utilize the nine, existing regional task forces and professional and public safety associations, including the Pennsylvania County Commissioners Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Boroughs and Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police, as the primary vehicles for education and outreach to local jurisdictions.
